Geekvape Aegis Legend 5 Preview
Geekvape Aegis Legend 5 Preview: 200W, IP68 and Built Like a Toolbox
The rugged dual-18650 Aegis gets the AS 4.0 chip, a 1.08-inch screen and the usual tri-proof rating.

The Aegis formula, refined: tough, dual-battery, 200W. On paper it's for people who drop things and vape big — check the external batteries you'll need.
On paper: strengths
- IP68 tri-proof rating (per Geekvape)
- Dual 18650, 5–200W
- AS 4.0 chipset with TC and custom modes
- Z Sub-Ohm tank in the kit
On paper: questions
- Batteries not included — budget for good 18650s
- Big and heavy by nature
- Light strips: nice or pointless? You decide
The Aegis Legend has been the default answer to “which mod survives a building site” for years. The Legend 5 keeps the rugged shell and dual-18650 layout and updates the electronics.
What’s new
Geekvape lists the AS 4.0 chipset (with a quoted 0.01s firing speed), a 1.08-inch screen, customisable light strips and 5–200W output. Modes include ECO, SMART, NORMAL, CUSTOM and temperature control.
Toughness
The IP68 tri-proof rating covers water, dust and shock, per Geekvape. That’s the reason to buy an Aegis.
Batteries
It runs on two external 18650 cells, which aren’t included. Buy reputable cells and read battery safety basics first.
Who it’s for
Experienced direct-lung vapers who want something nearly indestructible. New to all this? Start with what DTL means.
