The Great Coil Chase

New coil, new bridge, new chimney, new everything. When does improving your vape become a hobby about buying parts?

It starts innocently. A slightly better coil. Then a different bridge. Then an aftermarket drip tip, because the forum said so. Six months later, you own more parts than flavours.

The trap

Every part promises a small improvement, and some deliver one. But you can’t hear a 5% change in flavour when you’ve changed three things at once.

A better approach

  1. Pick one setup.
  2. Use it for a month.
  3. Change one thing.
  4. Decide honestly whether it’s better.

The best coil is usually the one you’ve learned to use properly. It’s the same reason we explain coil resistance before recommending any upgrade.
