How we keep editorial and commercial decisions separate — and how you can tell which is which.
Products supplied for review
Manufacturers and retailers may supply products for review. Receiving a product does not guarantee coverage, and coverage does not guarantee a positive review. Brands do not approve or preview our reviews.
Sponsored and partner content
Paid content is always labelled Sponsored or Partner content at the top of the article, with the partner named. It is never presented as independent editorial.
Launch announcements
News about new devices based on manufacturer information is labelled New device and is clearly distinguished from independent reviews.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. They are disclosed, and they never decide what we cover or recommend. See our affiliate disclosure.
Advertising
Advertisements are labelled and kept separate from editorial content. Advertisers have no influence over our coverage.
Corrections and updates
When we get something wrong, we fix it and, where it matters, say so. Articles that are meaningfully updated show an “Updated” date.
Health and safety
We do not make medical claims. Our content is not health advice. Vaping products are intended for adults of legal age.
